CSM emphasizes new synthetic methodologies, reactions that use new reagents or an important modification of known reagents, and regio-, chemo-, and stereoselective reactions carried out on multifunctional substrates.

Current Synthetic Methodology (CSM) emphasizes new synthetic methodologies; reactions that use new reagents or an important modification of known reagents, and regio-, chemo- and stereo-selective reactions carried out on multifunctional substrates. CSM updates the Reference Library of Synthetic Methodology, selecting representative novel methodologies to illustrate specific synthetic techniques.
